Two years ago at Snowboarder Magazine's Superpark 13, Sammy Carlson convinced Pat Bridges, longtime Editor, to let him session the features on the last day of the shoot. Naturally, Carlson heard his fair share of lip from the snowboarders.

A year later, Sammy got permission to join the second half of the event as an unofficial guest. Again, he was subject to mockery. Being the man that he is, however, Carlson worked his magic both on snow and off, and earned the respect of most everyone in attendance.

Having proven himself worthy, Carlson this year received a formal invitation from Snowboarder Magazine to join the gang for Superpark 15. Carlson happily obliged, and he was present at Mt. Bachelor, OR last week for the duration of the session. Sammy is the only skier in history to be invited to the event.
