When you get a phone call from Erik Roner asking if you would like to come hang out with the Nitro Circus, you get a stoked feeling…followed by a nervous knot in your stomach. Roner, a Scott Wintersports athlete, not only films amazing ski segments in Teton Gravity Research’s movies but also moonlights as a member of the stunt loving crew filming for MTV’s hit series “The Nitro Circus”. After a successful Season 1 on MTV, Roner and the rest of the Nitro crew have been cruising around the country filming for Season 2.
On Saturday, August 15, the Nitro Crew rolled into Twin Falls, ID, just down the road from SCOTT USA headquarters in Ketchum. Wanting a piece of the action, we packed up the truck at 6:30am and headed to Twin Falls to hang out with the crew. Not to give away any of the action but the bridge in Twin Falls is the only legal bridge to base jump off in the US.
Saturday was their last day of filming for Season 2 of the Nitro Circus on MTV which is set to premiere on August 27th at 10pm ET/PT. Make sure to check out the Teaser below and keep up with everything Nitro Circus at https://nitrocircus.com.
