And instead of 1 car, let’s take 3 brand new Toyota SUVs (2 Sequoias and 1 FJ Cruiser). And why let Freeskier have all the fun, let’s have our friends from bnqt.com come along as well. Well that is exactly what is going down right now.
Arrival
Myself and Mike Thomas arrive to a balmy Los Angeles, are picked up in the Toyota rides and then we proceed to meet the bnqt.com crew, and Salomon athletes Cody Ling and Tommy Ellingson. Everyone is amped up and ready to hit the road. First stop, Las Vegas.
Las Vegas
After about 4 hours of easy driving and a couple of pit stops, the crew pulls into the Palmst Casino and Hotel, home of the Playboy Club and a world famous casino. So what does the crew decide to do before dinner? Go go-karting of course. After a warm-up round, a finals race of 4 is set up to determine who is the fastest. Despite his best efforts, young Cody Ling was bested by Afroman Aissam, from bnqt.com.
Dinner at Nove, an upscale italian joint, was a typical affair where Cody was made to eat anchovies and canoodle with playboy bunnies. Ending the night at Club Moon at the Palms was a great cap to a first day. Day 2: Skiing at the Las Vegas Ski and Snowboard Resort.
