Looking back at this season, what are your biggest highlights and takeaways?

My biggest highlight from the season was my my heli skiing trip to Mazama, WA with the BlackStrap team. I had never been in a helicopter before that, and the stable snowpack made for an incredible trip!

What are your plans for the remainder of spring and into this summer?

I have big plans for the spring and summer! I’m going to make a few jump lines in the Wasatch before we lose the snow then become a single-track warrior on my dirt bike and mountain bike!

Any tips on keeping in ski shape throughout the summer?

Mountain Biking! I’ve always found that consistently mountain biking throughout the summer keeps my legs in good shape and keeps my cardio up.

What got you excited about working with BlackStrap?

The people! I’ve had the opportunity to participate in two different film trips with the BlackStrap team. Each trip has me looking forward to the next. The energy, organization and general stoke for life and snow sports is apparent in everyone at BlackStrap.

What gear of BlackStrap’s are you sporting currently and this past season?

I love my balaclavas and base-layers. I’ve only been using only blackstrap headwear for 10 + years now because it’s simply the best. They are lightweight, keep you warm and offer the most comfortable fit on the market. The base-layers have been a new favorite of mine this year, especially the hooded base-layer. I put my hood up on the cold days and it doesn’t bunch up or get in the way when I want to let it down. BlackStrap always!
