Praxis Skis is working to change the shape and look of the ski industry. Being at the forefront of the Rocker Revolution the skis we develop are not your ordinary skis. Using shapes and moldings previously untested and untried in the industry we have developed skis that make skiing off piste, powder, and other variable terrain conditions easy for even the intermediate skier, propelling the rider to a whole new level of skiing.
The skis have been tested and proven around the world in freeskiing comps by riders Kevin O’Meara and Drew Tabke as well as Dean Cummings and H20 Guides of Alaska. Feedback from these world class athletes fuels the development of Praxis Skis. By designing skis that work for you, the skier affords a heightened experience reducing fatigue and increasing the fun factor. Praxis Skis recognizes that different people like different styles of skis and skiing so we work hard to offer a spectrum of skis that will fit any skier’s quiver.
For the 2011 ski season we have 8 different models. Our focus is on creating powder and freeride skis. Our lineup includes 3 “powder specific” models that will change how you look at the mountain on a powder day. 4 Freeride models, the standout of the bunch being the Concept ski for 2011, try it, it’s going to change the shape of future ski designs. Last, our backcountry models is design to be on of the most progressive off piste touring skis, lightweight for its size but not undersized in anyway! Praxis Skis looks forward to continuing to influence the ski industry with cutting edge designs/concepts and ideas that will help propel skiers to a new level of skiing!
