Golden, Colorado-based ski shop, Powder7, is one of Colorado’s go-to, family-owned shops focused specifically on skiing. To celebrate a decade of success providing Front Range skiers and customers around the world with the latest and greatest gear through its brick-and-mortar store and website, Powder7 is looking to give its logo an upgrade. Seeing as Powder7 is a “customer-comes-first” kind of operation, it’s no surprise the shop is calling on its very own clients to come up with the new design.

The Powder7 to the People logo contest officially started on Wednesday, August 29 and will run until Wednesday, October 24. Contestants are encouraged to create a logo in whatever medium they choose–paint, photoshop, crayons, etc.–to reflect the brand’s identity as a a small business devoted to skiing, its community, social responsibility and environmental sustainability.

Based on a staff vote, the grand prize winner will not only have his or her logo featured on the shop’s website, social media, stickers, logowear and ski straps—but the designer of the winning logo will also win a free pair of skis and bindings every year for the next seven years. Submissions–whether they’re perfectly polished or just sketches–can be posted to Instagram using the hashtag “#powder7tothepeople” or sent via email to [email protected] by October 24. The winner will be announced via Facebook Live on Wednesday, November 14.
