One Hit Wonder Down Under Day 3

One Hit Wonder Down Under Day 3

Thredbo Resort, Australia – Day 3 continued with what Jordan summed it up as “dub-nasty.” Thredbo turned it on once again with perfect weather, a perfect jump and a couple of hungry athletes. It was like the flood gates opened and torrent of style came spewing out as riders played one-up til late in the afternoon. What other comp allows that kind of behavior?

We had to physically pull the riders off the jump an hour after we were meant to be packed up. Then skier Johnny Lipzker told us what was what at the end of the third day. This is just a tickle of what went down (and up and around and around)…

Day Three was to be our last jumping day as the wind gusts moved in on Wednesday night. Though prior to this, perfect sunny Spring time conditions and a bag of salt meant we had to physically pull the riders off the jump an hour after we were meant to be packed up late in the afternoon.

“It was the highest level of big air skiing I’ve ever seen from any Australian rider.” –Tim Myers

The next video’s to go up will be each riders trick that they put forward as the one they want the public to vote for, to decide who shares in $4000 cash from Sinner/Dynastar/Rome.
