Northstar And Sierra Team Up With Double Whammy Pass

Northstar And Sierra Team Up With Double Whammy Pass

Can’t decide whether to ski Northstar-at-Tahoe or Sierra-at-Tahoe this winter? You don’t have to choose, nor do you need to buy two season passes. The Double Whammy season pass lets you ski or ride at both areas for the price of one season pass.

The Double Whammy Unlimited pass is valid at both resorts with no restrictions. Holidays? Go skiing. Weekends? Go riding. Rates vary by age category: $109 for children (ages 5-12) and super seniors (70 and older), $399 for young adults (ages 13-22), and $699 for adults.

Restricted Double Whammy passes sell for less. The Limited pass, which costs $140-240 less, has no restrictions at Sierra Resort, but is not valid at Northstar during peak visitor periods at Christmas and holiday weekends in January and February. The Value pass, which is only available for adults and seniors, costs $359, almost half the price of the Unlimited pass, but it has blackout dates at both resort.

College Double Whammy passes also are available with blackout dates at Northstar, but unlimited skiing and riding at Sierra Resort. Vertical Plus can be added to any of the passes for $99.

Double Whammy passes can be purchased in four ways. You can buy them online, mail in an application with payment, call to purchase using a credit card, or stop by in person at either resort.
