Nordica’s refreshed Enforcer series is here to dominate the entire mountain

Which Enforcer has your name on it?

For years, Nordica’s Enforcer series has been a dominating force at FREESKIER’s Ski Tests, ranking amongst the best all-mountain and big-mountain skis available. Known for their stable, balanced feel and piste-focused nimbleness, the Enforcers—offered in 88, 93 and 100 millimeters underfoot—are adored by hard-charging skiers who seek the utmost responsiveness from their skis.

Adding some pizzaz to the longstanding and award-winning Enforcer package, Nordica introduced the Enforcer Free series just last season. Aimed at bigger mountains and deeper snow, and designed to provide a more playful ride, skis in the Enforcer Free line—104, 110 and 115 millimeters underfoot—are ideal for the rider who wants an all-mountain ski with freestyle sensibilities.

Below, we’ve highlighted each of the skis in Nordica’s Enforcer Free series and the Enforcer 88, the most nimble of the original Enforcer bunch. Take a moment and consider the type of skiing you want to accomplish on the hill—we’re certain you’ll find a set of planks to match your style.

Enforcer 104 Free

Nordica expands the Enforcer family with the Enforcer 104 Free, all-new for 2019-20. The ski offers the same powder-plundering capabilities as its bigger siblings, but with more versatility because of its slimmer waist. Nordica reduced the amount of ABS plastic in the tip for lower swing weight and implemented full-length carbon strips in the chassis to handle big drops and high-speed runouts–allowing it to truly float like a butterfly and sting like a bee. From a few inches of fresh to chewed up chunder, the Nordica Enforcer 104 Free is a do-everything son of a gun.

Enforcer 110 Free

After assaulting the ski area on the Enforcer 110 Free, you’ll have the entire mountain begging for mercy. A 110 millimeter width underfoot, early rise in the tip and tail and a poplar and balsa wood core makes this a powder-plundering plank with lots of pop and play for a variety of winter conditions. Two sheets of Titanal stiffen this puppy up to stomp big landings and hold on for high-speed runouts. Charging skiers will be hard-pressed to find any terrain the Nordica Enforcer Free 110 can’t dominate.

While the Nordica Enforcer 115 Free definitely requires a strong, aggressive skiing style thanks to two sheets of metal in the core, it certainly fits the bill of “freestyle ski.” A combination balsa-poplar-beech wood core complemented by carbon fiber balances weight savings, response and stability, ensuring the ski will react exactly how you intend it to, no matter the terrain. Significant early rise in the tip and tail gives it high marks in flotation, whether in deep snow or over variable chop, too. Lick the stamp and send ‘er with the Enforcer 115 Free this season.

Enforcer 88

The newest Enforcer, this 88-millimeter-waisted shredder is geared toward rip-roarin’ on-piste adventures. Think: fresh groomers, your favorite mogul run and everything in-between. The narrow width and camber underfoot on the Nordica Enforcer 88 translate to easy edge-to-edge transitions, while slight early rise in the tip and tail ensure you can handle a bit of off-piste action should you feel wild. Full ABS sidewalls also give top-of-the-market power transmission when rocketing down the mountain.
