The Night Riders Series at Whitefish Mountain Resort wrapped up on Friday night with a Slopestyle event that featured 40 competitors. Snowboarders and Skiers alike took to to the Fishbowl Slopestyle course hitting over 16 features including 20-40′ foot kickers, 30 foot uprail a pole jam and a quarter pipe.
Danner Pickering took home the series and Slopestyle championship, while Jordan Johansen took the top ranks for the Snowboard Pro class. It was also a big night for the Whitefish Mountain Resort Freestyle team with nine podium finishes.
The Night Riders Series included a Rail Jam, Best Trick Competition and Slopestyle, and is designed to give younger competitors event experience in freestyle disciplines. The Friday night series has also been a complement to the Wednesday Night Alpine Race League and Thursday Night Telemark Race League.
