Wolf Creek officially opened for the season on Friday, November 4

With a 40-inch base to kick off the 2022-23 ski season, Wolf Creek is officially spinning its lifts seven days a week. Thanks to a 26-inch storm, midway has got a plush 26-inch base and 90-percent of the ski area’s terrain is ready to rip.

Mammoth Mountain opened a week early

A week ahead of the posted schedule, Mammoth Mountain opened its ski resort to snow sliders on Saturday, November 5. With 15 inches of new snow just yesterday, the season is about to be well under way.

Alta, Snowbird close uphill access

While many Salt Lake City dwellers have been lapping up the goods within the closed resort boundaries of Alta and Snowbird, the two ski areas have officially closed uphill access to all snow sliders to do avalanche control and prepare the mountains for opening. While Snowbird won’t officially open until November 30, rumors are circulating that Alta could be open as early as next week.

Tatum Monod drops new sled-and-ski film, ‘All Access’

When Tatum was asked by her sled sponsor, Ski-Doo, if she could go anywhere in the world with her sled where would she go, the answer came easy to her. Alaska. Joined by Robin Van Gyn, Taylor Godber and Nadine Overwater, Monod camps out in the Alaskan backcountry for two weeks and explores the surrounding terrain by sled and ski in ‘All Access.’

Michelle Parker releases third episode of new podcast, Care Less Do More
