Colorado will reevaluate ski resort openings in late May

Colorado Governor Jared Polis announced Monday that the state would be opening up its State Parks for camping beginning on May 12. Officials will evaluate the potential reopening of certain ski areas and updates will be provided on May 25, at the earliest.

Oregon plans to welcome ski area visitors

Last week, Oregon Governor Kate Brown noted in a press conference that Oregon would allow recreation areas, including ski resorts, to reopen in the coming weeks. An executive order yet to be announced will outline, in detail, the protocols necessary for a successful and safe reopening.

A-Lodge hotel to offer Adventure Van rentals

Tucked away just a few miles from downtown Boulder, Colorado, A-Lodge feels worlds away. Now, the creekside motel/traveler’s hostel will offer tricked out Sprinter vans for adventurous vacationers to take wherever they please. Rates will start at $199 and A-Lodge will offer packages for mountain bikers, campers, skiers and more.

Snowbasin Resort offers new benefits for season pass holders and local community

In response to its early season closure, Snowbasin Resort, Utah, will be giving pass holders access to new benefits, including: a 20 percent renewal discount (or a free lift ticket), pass insurance, extended payment deadlines and a donation option that gives buyers the opportunity to donate their refund to an organization of their choice.
