Backcountry and nordic ski gear, climbing and backpacking equipment, as well as outdoor technical wear are all accepted pieces of equipment for the swap. Neptune Mountaineering today announced its annual Ski Swap and Gear Sale taking place on Saturday, October 19 from noon to 5p.m. This sale allows the community to sell ski gear or pick up something new in the store for the upcoming season. Accepted gear for the swap includes backcountry and Nordic ski gear, climbing gear, backpacking equipment and outdoor technical wear. Neptune Mountaineering is located at 633 Broadway Street in Boulder, Colorado.

“This annual sale marks the beginning of an incredibly exciting season in the Boulder community. In addition to the ski swap and sale, Neptune Mountaineering will have lift tickets and season passes for the 2013-2014 season available from several resorts, including Loveland, Vail, Eldora, Crested Butte and Jackson Hole among others.
