The air is getting crisper, the days a little shorter and your thoughts are inevitably drifting towards winter. But between now and then is the often overlooked season of fall.
Thankfully, Mount Snow is here to give you something to do besides twiddle your thumbs and wait for snow. Named a Top 10 Fall 2016 Event by the Vermont Chamber of Commerce, Mount Snow’s 22nd Annual Brewers Festival is set to take place Labor Day Weekend, September 3-4.
Admission for drinkers includes a souvenir glass, two beer tokens per day, more than 50 breweries pouring over 100 different beers and ciders, live music, BBQ and more. Non-drinkers will receive a souvenir water bottle and one free soda per day.
If that wasn’t sweet enough, there’s also a charity aspect to the event. Before the beer tasting begins on Saturday, the Hops for Hope 5K will take place with proceeds benefitting the American Cancer Society. All participants will receive a t-shirt and pint glass as part of their entry, and the top fundraiser will receive a 2016-17 Peak Pass. Support cancer research, get some swag and fundraise your way to a season pass? Win.
