More! Lifts Will Stay Open Longer At The ‘Bird

Snowbird is keeping things going a bit longer. The mountain has announced that the season will be extended through June 15.

“Consistent snowfall throughout the winter provided plenty of deep powder days and has created an impressive late spring snowpack,” says Head Honcho (el presidente) Bob Bonar. “Being able to extend Snowbird’s ski and ride season into June is the icing on the cake.”

Friday, May 30, through Sunday, June 1, Snowbird will offer the Tram, Little Cloud and Mineral Basin Express lifts. June 6-8 the Tram and Little Cloud lifts will be open for skiing and riding and Mineral Basin Express will operate if conditions permit. Father’s Day weekend, June 13-15, the Tram and Little Cloud lifts will be open for skiing and riding. Lifts will operate from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and service advanced and expert terrain only. Additional weekend spring skiing after June 15 will be determined by weather and snow conditions.

The spring lift ticket price is $59 per day and tickets will be sold at the Snowbird Center only, accessed by Snowbird Entry 2. Snowbird is currently offering an Endless Winter Ski & Board Package that includes lodging and a lift ticket beginning at $79 per person, per night. Call (800) 453-3000 for reservations.
