Michelle Parker has been a professional skier for the better part of 20 years and in those two decades she has partnered with numerous big names, including longtime sponsors Red Bull and Arc’teryx. In a twist of freeride fate, Parker just announced her return to former ski sponsor, Atomic.
“I’m beyond excited to land here,” Parker writes in a social media post announcing the renewed partnership. “Atomic has clearly built a solid foundation on the women’s side proving that they’re invested for the long term.”
It’s been 10 years and multiple ski sponsors since Parker was last on the Atomic team—formerly with blackcrows before joining Bode Miller’s startup Peak Skis. The women’s side of the freeride roster at Atomic has become significantly stacked with ripping skiers like Arianna Tricomi, The Blondes and Justine Dufour-Lapointe joining the ranks, and that has Parker fired up more than anything.
“Atomic has grown their list of athletes to include some of my favorite women in the sport and some of the most progressive athletes—the roster of athletes is so inspiring,” says Parker in that same social media post.
Riding the industry staple Bent Chetler family of skis and the Hawx Ultra XTD 130, we’re excited to watch this next chapter of Michelle’s career unfold. With longtime friend Chris Benchetler at the helm of the brand’s creative direction, we can only imagine what Michelle Parker and Atomic already have cooking.
