After three days in Aspen, CO, The Meeting has been “adjourned”. On the final night of The Meeting, those who attended were treated to two amazing films, Tyler Stableford’s “The Fall Line” and MSP’s “The Way I See It”, and a concert from hip hop legends, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony.
To start the evening, “The Fall Line” filled the screen in front of a packed Wheeler Opera House in Aspsn. Although Tyler Stableford’s story of paralympic athlete Heath Calhoun doesn’t fit your typical idea of “ski porn”, it is an inspiring film you should defiantly try to see. Following the first film, more people continued to pour into the opera house for MSP’s “The Way I See It”. The award winning film did not disappoint and left every person longing for winter and ski season.
As the theater cleared out, just like Friday night, the crowed migrated over to Belly Up to hear Bone Thugs. The legendary performers did not disappoint, playing classic songs like “Thuggish Ruggish Bone”, “1st of Tha Month” and many others. After a healthy serving of hip hop and other tomfoolery, the crowd left content and sipping syrup late into the night.
After three full days of activities and films, the 6th annual Meeting can no doubt be deemed a great success. Big shout outs to Aspen/Snowmass, Frias Properties and everyone else that made The Meeting happen.
