We’ve grown accustomed to it at FREESKIER. It seems every time we roll into Aspen, Colorado, for our annual Ski Test, affectionately known as FREESKIERFEST, the faucet turns on. As the sun sets and hundreds of skis set to hit the market in the fall make their way up Aspen Mountain, the snow begins to fall, and we’re treated to plentiful powder turns on one of our favorite mountains in the world. 2020 has proven to be no different.
Forecasts were optimistic for a bit of snow, but the clouds dropped six to 11 inches on Colorado’s central mountains, allowing us to pull out the fat skis and test all day to our hearts’ delight. It snowed all day, and when it was time to roll into the base area for après at The Snow Lodge, the sun peeked out. We love it when a plan comes together. Stay tuned for more action from the 2020 FREESKIER Ski Test.
