Killington Resort has long been an oasis for skiers in the Northeast United States. It’s long been thought of as a local’s hill, and now Killington has taken the extra step to support the skiers that support the resort—cementing it as a favorite stop for those riding in the Green Mountains. On Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Sundays, residents of Vermont and New Hampshire can grab discounted lift tickets to The Beast.
The resort recently announced they would be adding Sundays to the fan-favorite program, bringing the total number of days per week that residents can get discounted tickets up to three. This comes at a perfect time as the resort just recently announced that they have 100% of their terrain open, thanks to the incredible work from their snowmaking team.

Tickets are to be purchased online and, as expected, proof of residency is required when picking up your order. A Driver’s Licence or state-issued ID card are both examples of acceptable proof. College ID cards and utility bills are not valid.
After the sale of Killington from POWDR Corp. to local investors this summer, the future of the beloved resort remained uncertain. This move is another step in the right direction, signaling that Killington, while under new management, will remain true to the community for years to come.
With events like live music and the Tell A Friend Tour on deck, The Beast should certainly be high on your bucket list this winter. Check out Killington’s full list of winter 2025 events.
