Keystone Resort and Arapahoe Basin to offer joint season pass

Summit County, CO neighbors Keystone Resort and Arapahoe Basin have teamed up to offer the Keystone A-Basin Pass for the 2013-14 ski season. The pass is available for $279 (adults) and $199 (children ages five to 12) and offers skiing and riding at both resorts with holiday blackout dates included.

Keystone Resort  is once again setting the bar when it comes to family-friendly value in the ski industry, introducing the new Keystone A-Basin Pass™ for the 2013-14 Season. Joining Keystone’s Kid Ski Free and value 4-Pack products, the new pass is available for just $279 for adults and $199 for children (ages five to 12). Located minutes from I-70, Keystone and Arapahoe Basin offer easy access for skiers and riders, who will enjoy unlimited skiing and riding with holiday restrictions, with the added advantage of two of the longest ski and ride seasons in the state. The best value in the ski industry, the Keystone-ABasin Pass” pays for itself in less than three days on the mountain.

With more than 4,000 acres of skiable terrain accessed on the “Keystone A-Basin Pass”, skiers and riders can enjoy the long groomers, award-winning terrain parks and five bowls Keystone is known for, or venture over to Arapahoe Basin for the highest skiable terrain in North America. Set to open for the winter November 1, Keystone’s season will stretch to mid-April, providing more than five months of on-snow fun; coupled with Arapahoe Basin’s legendary commitment to one of the longest seasons in the country, passholders will be able to ski and ride for nearly half the year for under $300.

For skiers and riders not yet ready to make the commitment of a season pass, the diverse terrain offerings of these two favorite Colorado mountains may also be accessed via the Keystone-A-Basin 4-Pack product. For just $179, guests can enjoy four days of their choice, with limited blackout dates,

between the two resorts. Available now at select Colorado Ski and Golf, Colorado Ski and Sport, Boulder Ski Deals and special event locations, guests can lock in four perfect days at up to 60% off daily window lift ticket rates.

Keystone is one of the most popular family-focused ski resorts in the country, with numerous events and activities enhancing the family experience beyond the more than 3,000 acres of terrain spread across three peaks. This season the resort will introduce a new family ski trail, specially designed to aid in the progression of on-snow skills, while enhancing the engagement of skiers and riders of all ages.
