The cats outta the bag, as K2 put it. Addison Rafford is officially the latest rider to join the ever-growing stacked line up on board K2. Addie, as she’s known by most, had an incredibly productive 2023 by all standards. The 22-year-old Idaho native put down a stellar rookie season on the Freeride World Tour, racking up 21,520 points and starting this 2024 season in fourth overall place in the Women’s Ski category. She took home gold at the Baqueira Beret stop, proving that she was there to compete with the best of them right out of the gate. Previously riding for Black Crows, Rafford is looking to continue her winning momentum on some new sticks this year.

Aside from making waves in the competition scene, Rafford released “Con Artist.” The experimental ski film was created by the trio she co-founded, Milk Box Girls, and was directed by Griffin Glendinning. If you didn’t see it at a stop on the Level 1 Freeski Film Tour this Fall and have yet to watch it online, now is the time! The movie is incredibly creative, with both the skiing and filming having unique and distinguished flairs that suck you into a dark, brooding, captivating world of high-risk, high-reward stakes.

Along with Josie Petersen and Ella Meade, Rafford stars in the recent experimental ski film “Con Artist”

Whether on the Freeride World Tour or through future film projects, Addie is certainly a name that you’ll be hearing more of in the wide world of skiing. If you’re curious what Rafford will be skiing on the best of days, she can be seen rocking a fresh pair of Reckoner 112’s in her promo video from K2. Check out K2’s website for more info.
