K2 Pink Chase at Keystone raises over $30,000

This past Saturday, over thirty women raised over $30,000 at Keystone Mountain during the K2 Pink Chase Fundraiser. Skiers, snowboarders and telemark skiers combined into teams of three to raise money for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Prizes were awarded to the team who skied the most vertical, the most money raised and the best team spirit in the form of pink-themed outfits.

The weather was hit and miss all day with roller coasters of wind gusts, snow flurries and sunshine, but that didn’t stop the ladies from giving it their all for a good cause.

K2 team rider Michelle Parker was on hand to show her support. Even though she’s not on skis as of yet, she was at the bottom to give out stickers to the team members at each lap and support the local riders. K2 rider Anna Segal was also on site snapping photos and cheering on the teams.

Big thanks to all of the participants and the sponsors: K2, Orage, Smith, Keystone and Outdoor Divas.
