With all of the new snow gracing the peaks of Colorado, skiers are chomping at the bit to get back to shredding. To help ring winter, head to Golden, CO on Thursday, September 26 for the Bentgate Ski Season Kickoff Party. The bash, hosted by backcountry ski shop Bentgate, takes place at 6 p.m. at the American Mountaineering Center in Golden. The ski expo will kick off the party, with ski industry reps (including Freeskier) and backcountry organizations on site, silent auctions and a raffle. Food trucks and a beer garden will be available and funds raised will go towards the Colorado Avalanche Information Center, the American Mountaineering Museum, as well as other winter non-profits.
