In Flylow’s Westward series, meet the skiers making life work in the mountains

Living, working and enjoying the benefits of calling a ski town “home” requires dedication. Finding suitable housing, stable employment and, of course, time to take laps at the local resort, is an endeavor that turns most folks into tourists—visitors, recreational skiers. But, in every mountain town, there are a committed few, “lifers” who stick around to keep skiing closer than anything else. These are die-hard skiers—folks who prioritize that feeling of flying down a mountain over everything else.

In Westward, a multi-season video series produced by KGB Productions in collaboration with Flylow Gear, meet the skiers devoted to making life work in the mountains. Professionals, shop rats, ski gangs, moms and dads, coaches, mentors and photographers. Here, we’ve highlighted our favorite episode from each of the five seasons available online.
