Ikon Pass adds Solitude and Brighton for 2018-19 season

Ikon Pass holders now have access to nearly 10,000 acres of skiable terrain in Utah, thanks to the addition of Solitude Mountain Resort and Brighton Resort to the pass for the 2018-19 winter season. With the addition of these new resorts, the Ikon Pass now offers pass holders access to five resorts in Utah, also including Deer Valley Resort, Alta and Snowbird.

“The Ikon Pass is expanding, and with the addition of Solitude Mountain Resort and Brighton Resort, we are excited to offer unparalleled access to Utah, a state known around the world for its snow quality, variety of terrain, and accessibility,” said Erik Forsell, Chief Marketing Officer of Alterra Mountain Company.

Solitude and Brighton, located in Big Cottonwood Canyon, are renowned for their incredible snowfall—both mountains average 500 inches every year—, wide variety of terrain and tight-knit mountain communities.

Unlimited access to Solitude is available on the Ikon Pass with no blackout dates, and unlimited access with holiday restrictions is available on the Ikon Base Pass for winter 2018-19. At Brighton, pass holders are granted seven days of skiing with no blackout dates while the Ikon Base Pass offers five days with 10 blackout dates.
