This October 26-29th in Montreal, Quebec there’s only one place to be: The 10th iF3 film festival. Chock full of ski flicks, live music, special daily events, afterparties, after-afterparties and more, skiing’s largest independent film festival returns for another round of celebrating the industry’s most creative and talented cinematographers athletes from more than 20 different countries.
Gaining steady popularity in its previous nine events, and set for an epic comeback after taking a hiatus in 2016, this year’s event includes over 100 professional and amateur films, shorts, documentaries and webisodes that highlight every aspect of ski culture. And, ladies, don’t miss the iF3 ALL GIRLS conference which includes yoga classes, athlete discussions and gear giveaways.

As explained by the event’s organizers, “The International Freeski Film Festival (iF3) was created in 2007… [and] stemmed from the need to unite all elements that compose freeski and freeride cultures in one place, including ski cinematography, producers, athletes, photography, brands, music, art and parties.”
Now set to include snowboarding movies for the first time, this year’s event seeks to further its original mission to represent the mountain lifestyle in-full. So, grab your friends—even if they ride a snurfer—and get yourself to MTL for iF3 2017, the ski community’s premiere film festival.
This could be you…
