In Case You Missed It…

The best from freeskier.com

The Big Picture Mtn Revised is mind-blowingly sick

Parker White and Chris Logan are arguably the best one-two punch in big mountain skiing. After watching the duo’s latest installment of their web series The Big Picture, you’ll understand why. Throughout the ten-minute video, both P-White and C-Lo go buck wild on beastly pillow lines, colossal backcountry jumps and tasty pow across interior British Columbia, Wyoming and Montana.

Whistler Blackcomb’s historic documentary 50 Years of Going Beyond

“For the last five decades, Whistler Blackcomb has left its mark on those who are drawn to the mountains,” writes the resort via Youtube. “What started as a single Olympic dream in 1966 has evolved into the largest ski resort in North America, with a slew of accomplishments to back it up. From the resort’s adventure-seeking founders to its freestyle heydays—and breaking Guinness World Records along the way—snowsport industry legends recount the contributions that Whistler Blackcomb has made to skiing (and snowboarding) and the significance of its golden anniversary. But while 50 Years of Going Beyond solidifies the resort’s legacy in the past, there is no denying that the last fifty years is just the beginning.”

Watch Connery Lundin’s extreme 2015 season edit

Originally hailing from Squaw Valley, California, Connery Lundin now resides in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. The Freeride World Tour / Freeride World Qualifier athlete had a heck of a 2014-15 season and today he’s here to show us his personal favorite moments. Enjoy checking out an array of double backflips, competition highlights and fat cliff drops from across the globe. Spoiler Alert: This dude can rip.

HG Skis releases 2015 street-heavy film, Children of the Guan

HG Skis’ 2015 film Children of the Guan features skiing from Christian Franchino, Connor Gaeta, Hunter Tyrrell, Cole Gibson and Jamie Amodeo. Thanks to a hearty helping of snow last year, the HG crew was able to get down and dirty in the streets all over the East Coast. As per usual, the group does not disappoint as they stomp with style on a collection of high consequence street features.

The best from around the web

Red Bull Rampage is monstrous

Red Bull’s coveted Rampage mountain bike showdown went down last week. Above, you’ll find a video showcasing a few practice laps before the final rounds of competition occurred. It becomes very clear, very quickly that these athletes give zero f#cks.

Travis Rice and Dan Adams rip snowmobiles in badass footage

You can’t not appreciate Travis Rice’s abilities on snow. From enormous backcountry booters on his snowboard, to skilled snowmobile shredding, the Wyoming-native never ceases to impress. Don’t believe me? Watch the video above as evidence.

Introducing the Hockey Helper Helmet

“Don’t settle for being a spectator,” writes Game on! Minnesota via its Youtube page. “With its patented Head Hugger Intercom System, the H3 (Hockey Helper Helmet) is the first hockey helmet that allows you to communicate with your player during games. Don’t wait for the car ride home, get in the game with the H3!”

Gluing an egg to someone’s head is hilarious

So this bloke fell for the old “try to balance this egg on your head” trick. Per usual, it didn’t work out. However, we all got a nice laugh out of it. This is a Grade A (egg joke) prank.
