In a new web series from Peak Performance dubbed A Skier Knows, Swedish big-mountain masters Matilda Rapaport and Henrik Windstedt document the incredible feeling that skiing provides. In episode one, the duo takes on the mighty mountains of Alaska. They talk about the struggles of down days, what it takes to choose an AK line and Rapaport finds redemption after getting caught in an avalanche in Alaska last season. Be on the lookout for the rest of A Skier Knows this fall.
Starring Alex Beaulieu-Marchand (ABM) and Émile Bergeron, The Wild Indians also features the talents of Paul Bergeron, Jerome Vallé and Jean Spag. Given ABM suffered a season-ending injury last season at the X Games, folks’ immediate response this morning has been, “When did he film this stuff?” The answer: late December and early January, pre X. In that short span, this Québécois army did work.
Up-and-comer Alex Hall is on the fast track to the top of the slopestyle skiing charts. The youngster (17 years old) spent the previous season working extremely hard, learning new rotations and technical maneuvers in the park. Veterans beware, this dude has got the skills to pay the bills and he’s on a mission to crush.
Usually when one sees Sage Cattabriga-Alosa on their television or computer screen, he’s ripping some ungodly steep spine in Alaska. However, when he’s not getting after it in faraway destinations, he’s tearing up places like Alta Ski Area. Enjoy this top-to-bottom run featuring Cattabriga-Alosa and local ripper Grant Howard boosting off all of the natural transitions around the ski area.

This is what it looks like to board slide a ginormous handrail on a skateboard. Thankfully, this guy wore his game face for the entire ride.
