This piece combines Gore-Tex 3L and Gore-Tex C-Knit for a garment that’s waterproof, windproof, ultra-breathable and has outstanding comfort. We all know the protective benefits of Gore-Tex 3L, but C-Knit technology—where the membrane is bonded to a super thin, lightweight yet dense circular knit, resulting in a patent-pending laminate—boosts breathability and reduces weight compared to equivalent Gore products. It also provides a crazy-smooth texture that guarantees comfort and allows for easy on and off with other layers. The jacket is also home to bonded chest pockets that double as vents, a two-part adjustable hood (at the visor and side of the hood) that improves field of vision when worn over a helmet and pack-friendly, seamless shoulders.
