On Saturday, team FREESKIER rolled up to Copper Mountain and witnessed one of the greatest skiing events on Earth: Red Bull Slopesoakers. It was nothing short of a pond skim on steroids; participants hit rails and jumps that launched them over, across and often into various pools of water, resulting in wild tricks and crashes the crowd thoroughly enjoyed. Up for grabs were various prizes including Copper season passes, GoPros and cold, hard cash. So, despite the casual nature of the event, skiers were totally sending it and attempting the unthinkable on this wild course. Below, check out a collection of radical photos from the day.
