Over the past six days, our loyal and talented ski testers have been ripping up and down Aspen Mountain on next year’s best skis, testing them to the best of their abilities. Much air has been caught over the famed “Hollywood line,” smack under the Ajax Express chairlift for all to see, skis have been put through the wringer on the steep terrain of Walsh’s, in the “Dumps,” and beyond. As such, we’ve compiled loads of great data from each of our testers; their collective scores and notes ultimately serve as the basis for the ski reviews, and the selection of our Editor’s Picks in the 2015 Buyer’s Guide.
On Sunday and Monday, we tested our first group of powder skis, followed by big-mountain skis on Tuesday, all-mountain skis on Wednesday and Thursday, and then, with fresh snowfall blanketing the town of Aspen once again, we’ve broken out the next set of pow sticks for Friday and Saturday.
