FREESKIER is taking its 2020 Buyer’s Guide on tour, allowing you to test out the Editors’ Picks skis from its biggest issue of the year
Every winter, we at FREESKIER have the fortuitous opportunity to get our feet on next season’s skis to test, rank and decide which are worthy of ending up in our annual Buyer’s Guide, released each September. For five bell-to-bell days, our team of 40-plus testers put the best and newest offerings from over twenty manufacturers through the testing gamut–deep pow, frozen moguls, tight trees, chewed up chunder, wide-open groomers–to help you make the most informed purchasing decisions. This year, we’re bringing our Buyer’s Guide to life by hosting free demo events in Colorado and Vermont over three weekends in December. We’ve invited all of the brands featured in the 2020 Buyer’s Guide to participate so you, devout gear junkie, can come and take those new planks you’ve been eyeing in print for a spin.
The Buyer’s Guide Live Demo Tour kicks off at Vail Mountain on Saturday, December 7, 2019, followed by stops at Killington, Vermont, on December 14 and Copper Mountain, CO on December 21. For each tour stop, we’ll cap off a day of shredding with a raucous après party, complete with live music, drink specials and the opportunity to win free gear.
