Team FREESKIER is hitting the road again to celebrate the start of ski season. We’re teaming up with the best filmmakers in the industry to show you the latest and greatest movies followed by after parties that go late into the night. Last night was an absolute riot as the FREESKIER crew rolled in to Boulder, Colorado, from Denver for Matchstick Productions’ world premiere of HOJI at the historic Boulder Theater. The energy from the movie flowed from the theater straight in to License No. 1 where the stoke was lit late in to the night.
The evening kicked off at 5PM with a VIP Q&A session with the star of the film, Eric Hjorleifson, hosted by Dynafit at Post Brewing in Boulder. Following the Q&A session, friends and fans gathered on the FREESKIER RV parked in front of the theater and eager movie-goers lined the sidewalk in anticipation for the film. Fans couldn’t contain their stoke as the start of the movie was met with loud cheers and hollers when the film opened to Hoji on top of a massive mountain face few of us would dare to ski.
As the credits started rolling and the lights went up, movie-goers, amped with excitement from Hoji’s performance on screen, headed to the speakeasy-style bar in the basement of Hotel Boulderado, License No. 1, for the FREESKIER movie premiere after party. The crowd boogied to the funky beats of the Motet’s Lyle Divinksy and friends long after the clock struck midnight and the FREESKIER crew were able to hand out some pretty dope giveaways from Zeal Optics, YETI, Icelantic and Kari Traa.
