The epic travel adventure kicked off this morning at 5:00 AM when I exploded out of bed, ran through the shower and high-tailed it to Denver International Airport to catch my 7:30 flight to Seattle. Made it to Seattle without a single hiccup, all baggage arrived on time and we managed to touch-down a few minutes early… Golden.
Snagged a taxi to pick my rental car up at the pier and from there the adventure was on. Wandered around Seattle for an hour or so to get a feel for the city before embarking for my Canadian adventure to Whistler Blackcomb for a week of summer ski camp on the glacier. Made it to Whistler safe and sound, had good weather for the drive and soaked in the sights in Vancouver by taking the scenic way in. Parked the car for an hour or so and wandered around the city, had a sweet bite to eat and hopped back into the 300C for the final leg of the adventure, Highway 99, the Sea to Sky highway.
So, I’m here. Really tired. Going to head out, have a couple adult beverages and celebrate my arrival with a couple of friends that call this wild place home. Daily coverage from Camp of Champions and Momentum begin tomorrow. I’ll be here all week giving you guys the low-down on what is going on, so stay tuned for updates-a-plenty.
