There was only one appropriate manner in which to conclude the Polartec Big Air at Fenway Park: FREESKIER FEST, Boston edition. That’s right, our six-stop party tour stormed through Beantown’s Tequila Rain nightclub, situated across the street from Fenway Park—the site of yesterday’s historic skiing contest.
Following the big air, hundreds of skiers (including the athletes who had, hours earlier, performed before 15,000 fans on a 140-foot-tall ski jump) thronged to the poppin’ party venue. The dance floor shook. The tequila flowed non-stop. And the photobooth witnessed NSFW moments that we can’t possibly detail in a public forum. All in all: One heck of a rager.
