Faction Collective welcomes Kristi Leskinen to the International Team

The Faction Collective is a core, indie ski brand producing and selling skis since 2004.

One of female skiings most prominent athletes, Kristi Leskinen has joined The Faction Collective as both team rider and womens ambassador, partnering with Beanie Milne-Home (UK) to lead product development for our womens specific range of skis and accessories. She has been competing this year on the Dew Tour and X-Games, and will continue to compete in further events worldwide.

Kristi has been an inspiration to thousands of young female and male skiers across the globe for many years, and has been a superstar of the ski world since her appearance in Poor Boyz Productions now classic ski movie, ‘Happy Dayz’ back in 2002. Kristi was one of the first female skiers to throw rodeos and slide the same rails as the boys.

Seven years on and Kristi has won numerous medals at the X-Games, Gravity Games, US and European Open and had video parts in several Poor Boyz movies among others. Kristi has helped develop the sport of freesking as we know it today – we are excited to see how she can continue to grow and move forward as part of The Faction Collective!

Kristi had this to say about her move to Faction skis;

“The manufacturer I represent is critical to me. Faction combines innovative thinking with products of the best quality and design available today. It is the perfect fit for me and I’m really excited to be part of the Collective.”

Director of Faction, Tony McWilliam is equally as excited:

“Our International and Pro-level team riders now combine youth and energy together with experience and professionalism. The appointment of Kristi Leskinen as our Women’s Ambassador brings a new level of experience and ability to the Collective and we are excited about her role further developing our female-specific product lines over the coming years.
All our riders are an integral part of our business – having hands on development of all our products and input into the direction of the brand itself, and Kristi will be no exception – look out for a signature ski to be released soon…”
