Eye of the Condor is underway in La Parva, Chile. Five teams will battle this week to create the best photo portfolio, and 3-minute video segment.
On top of producing the aforementioned content, athletes and media are also using this event as a forum for discussion. Seminars and photo retrospectives will be held; these gatherings are an opportunity for people to discuss the roll that action sports and photography play in marketing and brand development. A blend of skiing, art and social action Eye of the Condor has great potential to become a staple of the freeskiing competition scene.
The action kicked off yesterday, as teams set off in search of fun features and deep pow. Snow fell throughout the weekend priming the terrain for the athletes; it's certainly shaping up to be a rockin' week. Stay tuned for more updates as the show rolls on.
