European skiers catch large spring avalanche on camera

When spring rolls around every year, the snowpack in the mountains, for the most part, begins to consolidate. Skiers can get complacent, believing avalanches won’t take place until winter returns later in the year. But if you watch this video, from an unconfirmed location in Europe, you’ll see that avalanches—usually of the wet slide variety—are very much possible right now. And just take a look at how much snow is being moved down the mountain. As always, stay safe out there, skiers.
