June 25, 2010 Salt Lake City, UT—The Factory First Wailer 112RP Giveaway came to a close on June 15th. The winner is Kyle Cressman of Redmond, WA.
Congrats Kyle!
The Wailer 112RP giveaway was a three-month long contest in celebration of the launch of the DPS Wailer 112RP for the 2010/11 season. We’d like to thank those who participated—DPS is greatly appreciative of the ongoing passion and loyalty displayed by all.
The innovative Wailer 112RP continues to garner early buzz. On June 22nd, the Wailer 112RP was a recipient of Backcountry Magazine’s Editor’s Choice Award, one of eleven skis chosen out of over 90 test entries in the Backcountry’s spring 2010 ski test, which will be featured in their upcoming September’s Buyer’s Guide issue.
According to Backcountry Magazine, the DPS Wailer 112RP, “proved itself to testers with its lightweight construction, outstanding versatility, and playfulness in any condition.”
And that’s precisely what the Wailer 112RP was engineered to do—a ski up to the task of being skied at the highest level all day at the resort and in the backcountry. It’s the most versatile ski ever built. It’s truly a one-ski quiver for planing untracked in the morning, laying trenches down to the lift on the groomed, and slaying the crud in the afternoon.
“The Wailer 112RP is a game changer—a once in a decade kind of ski. It should fast become the first choice for riders around the world,†said retail manager Marshal Olson of DPS Skis.
Kyle, we hope you’ll enjoy the Wailer 112RP as much as we think you will.
