3) New at Breckenridge Oktoberfest: VIPs and more of the best brews (Sept. 16-18, 2011)
Breckenridge Oktoberfest will this year offer new entertainment, VIP package and additional beer-pouring capabilities at the growing event. In its 17th year, Breck’s Oktoberfest brings a weekend of parties, German cuisine and plenty of Paulaner bier. Combine it all at one of the fest’s top parties, the Brewmaster’s Dinner, which features a different beer or wine paired with each of the six courses.
4) Breckenridge Craft Spirits Festival: Still on the Hill (Oct. 7-9, 2011)
Craft distillers will gather in Breckenridge for the second annual Still on the Hill festival, which features a grand tasting, restaurant specials, a downtown pub crawl and historic saloon tours. Born of Colorado’s – and the nation’s – rapidly-growing artisan spirits industry, Still on the Hill is the perfect time to celebrate Colorado distillers, get a taste of town and do a little sampling.
