DNA Evolution Tour Finals

DNA announces the Winners of the Final Competition at SIA 2008

Ogden, UT February 6, 2008- DNA is excited to announce the winners of the first season of the DNA Evolution Tour. It all went down in Las Vegas, NV at the SIA show on January 31st, when fifty athletes were knocked down to the final six skiers and six snowboards. (Skiers-Gus Kenworthy, Tim Mcchesney, Kolby Ward, Leo Zoberski, Mcrea Williams and Kolby Roloff. Snowboarders- Seth Hill, Ivan Marcinko, Austin Carpenter, Jordan Noe, Jeff Strong and Devin Laughter) They were left to battle it out at the final competition and be crowned the first ever “King of the Rail” on our snowless rail system.

These final twelve freeriders practiced long and hard prior to the final competition. It paid off for skier Tim McChesney whose hometown is Bozeman, MT and lives in Salt Lake City, UT. Tim came out on top with a 270 backside switch up on the Kink followed by a 450. From the Snowboarders Seth Hill out of Boulder, CO also made out pretty well after dropping a front board pretzel 270 out. Both Athletes walked away with a Pro contract from DNA, Bern helmets and Love sac. They also received a $1500 signing bonus as well as some prizes that included Ogio travel bags, two custom Bern helmets, Smith Goggles and a helmet cam.

The Evolution Tour will begin its second season in May and run through September.
