Where have you been all summer?

I have been skiing and coaching at Mt Hood all summer in Oregon. It is beautiful out there, and I am stoked to have been able to live there for two months!

What is summer training like?

Summer training is a ton of awesome, because it is all about having fun without any pressure. You can ski all day with friends, push each other to learn new tricks, and just have fun in the soft snow and sun!

How is being a coach beneficial to your personal training?

Coaching is great because it lets you help others improve on things that you may need to remember to improve on yourself… Little tips about how to do a trick or how to make it better allows you to have those key things in the back of your head when you are skiing. So it is rad because most of the time you get to ski with your campers too, then you HAVE to show them how to do it right 😉 haha.

What were some of the highlights of your summer in the states?

Surfing, beachin on the coast and sleeping under the stars, waking up early to ride with blue bird skys, lapping the tow rope 50 times a day, the arc ;), eat/ski/beach/yoga/eat/campfire/friends…. DAHOODESTHOUSE with the ladies who kill it everyday!

Congrats on the podium in New Zealand! Is this your first time down there?

Tis my first time down er mate. And a beautiful place it is eh!

What’s the best thing about NZEd?

Feels like winter again, the mountains are beautiful rolling hills with snow only on the tops, and Wanaka is a rad little town filled with skiers and snowboarders.. The accents are so great, I am starting to pick up on it, can’t wait to be a full on kiwi by the end of this trip 🙂 mmmm and fresh kiwi everyday!

What are you stoked on for the upcoming season?

Stoked to do some filming with ma new camera with some of the chicas I ride with, Dew and X Games , dancing and listening to some new Britney beats! Gotta have the Britney when I ride, constant dance party.

New tricks we should be watching for from D-Money?

Well, can’t give everything away yet, but I am working on my switch dub 12…. so for sure be lookin for that 😉 I may also have some new pole dancing tricks as well 🙂 The rest you will just have to wait for!

What other chicas are you stoked to see competing this winter?

Ah oh man!!! so many! The girls of dahoodesthouse were KILLIN it in hood, and have a ton of new tricks to show off, so that is great! And ASH B IS BACK! So I will be stoked to ski with her again, she will be motivated and ready to kick ass, so that will be a ton of fun.Watch for little Megan Gunning from Alberta too, she is SO pimp and good at skiing, and only 16! woo
