Colorado Powder Forecast for week of Mar. 31
- HIGHLIGHTS
- Deep late-season conditions
- Warm weekend
- Powder day on Monday
I hope you made it to the slopes on Sunday, Monday, or Tuesday earlier this week. The snow was deep, soft, and it seemed that the spring break crowds were all gone. It was a mountain experience all to yourself (if you were there:-)
After some warm weather late this week and this weekend (Saturday high temperatures around 50F around 11,000ft!), another storm will stroll in from the northwest. As a strong cold front moves across the state on Sunday night, heavy snow should hit most mountain areas.
Right now, it looks like Monday will be the best powder day of the next week, though exactly who gets the big snow is still up in the air. The weather computer models are waffling a bit on whether the storm will take a northern or southern track through the state, and this makes all the difference.
Stay tuned to www.ColoradoPowderForecast.com for the details as the next few storms roll through.
