Colorado Powder Forecast for week of Dec. 2
- HIGHLIGHTS
- Warm snowstorm for Friday into Saturday
- Storm targets northern 2/3rds of Colorado
- Colder storm on Monday hits entire state
La Nina continues her magic over the next few days with two snowstorms heading toward Colorado. Although it’s only early December, Steamboat, Loveland, Breckenridge, and Vail have recorded more than 100″ on the season and they could add another FOOT (ish) over the next five days if everything comes together just right.
The first storm on Friday will bring snow to the northern 2/3rds of Colorado, though this storm will be rather warm, so don’t expect blower pow.
After a break on Sunday, a stronger and colder storm is likely to hit most of Colorado on Sunday night through Monday. With snow falling overnight and continuing through morning, Monday could be the best powder day of the next 5-7 days.
It looks like it’s a good time to start the weekend early (Friday) and end it a bit late (Monday).
