VAIL, Colo. — November 1, 2008— Leftover Salmon, the legendary Colorado-born band notable for their fusion of bluegrass, Cajun, funk, Southern rock, boogie, Caribbean, Latin and jazz influences, was added to the Vail Snow Daze 2008 musical lineup with tickets on-sale beginning November 1. Leftover Salmon will perform as Vail Snow Daze’s second headliner concert, Big Head Todd and the Monsters will perform on Thursday night, and is part of the country’s largest early season mountain bash, which offers a host of on-mountain events and après parties.

“Leftover Salmon has been one of Colorado’s favorite bands since the early ‘90s,” said Jeff Brausch of Highline Sports & Entertainment, which produces the festival. “They’re a sold-out show nearly every venue they perform at and they’re a perfect addition to Snow Daze’s three night concert lineup.”

Leftover Salmon is recognized as one of the most electrifying and captivating Colorado bands.

“Leftover is going to absolutely kill it at Dobson Arena,” said James Deighan of Highline Sports & Entertainment. “The band has a multitude of diehard fans from across the U.S. who are sure to mark Vail Snow Daze’s concert on their calendar. There has been a massive demand for these guys and we are lucky to have them coming.”
