In her first ever X Games superpipe run, Estonian skier Kelly Sildaru put on a show, linking together a string of impressive tricks, spinning in multiple directions and showing consistent style. Her score after run 1? A 92.33, which put her in first place throughout the first two rounds of competition.

Sitting at the top of the podium after her third run, there was an air of confidence that Sildaru would take home X Games gold in the superpipe. Unfortunately for the young Estonian star, 2018 Olympic gold medalist Cassie Sharpe had yet to take her final run. Sharpe, star of the Canadian pipe team, dropped in and with her first hit, stomped a massive left side 900, which set the tone for her entire run, which earned her a score of 94.00, her second X Games gold medal and third overall.

Sharpe’s Canadian teammate, Rachel Karker, edged out American Brita Sigourney for the bronze, while perennial gold medal threat Maddie Bowman (USA) finished fifth.
