Posted up on the Blackcomb Glacier in Whistler, Canada, Momentum Camps offers an incredible ski camp experience for young riders ages 9-18 years old, as well as anyone 19-and-older for its adult camp. Whether you’re looking to improve your technique in the moguls or get more comfortable in the air, Momentum’s impressive list of coaches, including Olympians, World Champions and X Games medalists will take you from zero to hero in a matter of days.
As part of the camp’s on-going partnership with BUFF Headwear, which began in 2018 with custom product for Momentum campers and staff, the leading creators of performance head and neckwear are taking it a step further in 2022 with a limited-edition Tropical Collection of neck tubes as well as a contest to send one lucky winner to camp this summer.
Open to kids age 9-18 years old in the United States as well as Canada, entering the contest is easy: Simply submit a video explaining why you deserve to win a week learning from skiing’s most accomplished athletes. The contest runs through March 31, 2022, and the winner will be announced on April 14. Note: Parental authorization is required to enter.
“This initiative means a lot to us at BUFF who grew up in the mountains and helps fulfill our mantra to Live More Now,” says Casey Rolig, the North American media communications manager at BUFF, in a recent press release. “This contest will not only spotlight the stories of inspirational young riders from the U.S. and Canada, but we hope will create a positive ripple effect inspiring other kids to pursue their dreams.”
BUFF’s Tropical Collection consists of four, one-of-a-kind multifunctional neckwear tubes. Artist Charles Bédard uses a heavy retro influence in these wild designs and harks on the fun-in-the-sun vibes of spring skiing. Each tube is made with BUFF’s Original EcoStretch fabric with four-way stretch, UPF 50 sun protection and 12-plus ways of wear. What’s even better, proceeds from every purchase of a BUFF x Momentum Camps neckwear goes toward the contest to send one lucky kid to camp.
