BRING IT ON! – DAY 3 – AGE BEFORE BEAUTY?

BRING IT ON! – DAY 3 – AGE BEFORE BEAUTY?

Well, ontarioskiingsucks, I guess you were wrong. This rider is not some older pro — its a young gun. That means, bye, bye Turpin and see ya later Sarah. Even the godfather of skiing, who made his debut today, must head for the exits. Phil Casabon is out as well. That narrows it down a bit. Chris Turpin had been gaining some momentum as did the Queen of Ski, Sarah Burke. Laurent Favre also was getting a few votes. But, not to be for any of them. You, however, did extremely well today with about 80% guessing the correct answer. Yesterday, only 45% got it right. Day 1 and 2 winners Russell Blenkarn and Connor Fitzpatrick claimed their prizes yesterday and Nick Kinsman will get to do so today as yesterday’s winner. You could be next with your entry today.

According to your entries, the leaderboard looks something like this – Andreas Hatveit, Jon Brogan, Mike Riddle, Jen Hudak, Colby West, Simon Dumont, Jossi Wells, Sammy Carlson and Ahmet Dadali. Is it one of these or not? Today’s question will help narrow that down a bit as it looks at the number of times this rider finished in the top-5 in competitions he or she entered this past season. To recap, at this point we know that this rider is between 17 and 23, is a slope/pipe athlete and does not incorporate a Whiskey Flip into his or her pipe run. Now, is this rider hitting the podium all the time, sometimes or not too often just yet? To answer the question for Day 4, click here.

We are also modifying the look of the contest entry screen to help guide you from here on in. We’ve moved the names of the riders who have been ruled out by the clues to a new column – ‘Who is definitely NOT it’ and we are listing the names of the riders who are in the running according to the number of entries from most to least. So, now you can keep track of who’s out, who’s hot and who’s not.

We have take a minute to thank you all for participating. The response to the contest has been outstanding. In fact, its been so good that we don’t think its fair to give away just one pair of skis — too many people would be left out — so we are adding a second pair of skis to the prize pool. This second pair will be awarded to one person at random from all of the entries submitted over the course of the contest. This means that, whether you guessed right or wrong, every time you play you will get another chance to win this pair of skis. This second pair will be the winner’s choice (subject to availability) from a limited number of cosmetic blems we have in the warehouse, but we’re sure you won’t care about that – after all, you had to do little more than breathe to win them and free skis are free skis, right? Naturally, we reserve the right to add more skis to the prize pool if participation keeps growing!

Remember, every day we will post a new question, related to the athletes identity, on 4FRNT.com. Each question is designed to build upon the information posted from the previous daily questions and provide clues as to this rider’s identity. Daily answers will all be building up to the final 12th question on June 20th. Answers will be posted daily on the site along with names of riders that contestants are guessing. Remember, we’re not telling who it is but we’ll post your guesses. With every daily answer posted, so will be the winner of the daily drawing and the names of who people think it may be.

Prizes (you know, free stuff!!):

Each and every day. one lucky contestant who answers the daily question correctly will win free stuff from shop.4FRNT.com. In addition to the daily prizes, if you provide the correct name of the rider with your answer, you also will be entered into the Grand Prize drawing to win a free pair of 08-09 TNKs. You can up the ante and also win a pair of Deadbolt bindings if you are selected as the Grand Prize winner and have made a qualifying purchase on shop.4FRNT.com during the contest. We’ll even make it an easy decision by giving you 35% off your purchase (coupon code will be provided after you post your first entry in the contest). See the Official Rules for details.

On the 21st of June, we will not only be announcing the answer to the final question and name of the Grand Prize winner, but we will also be physically introducing the athlete at Camp of Champions’ arrival day for Session A. So start guessing, sign up for Camp of Champions and meet 4FRNT’s latest pro, win some skis and shred the best summer terrain park in history.
