The Expression Sessions Event Series is back for an unprecedented fifteenth consecutive season at Boreal Mountain Resort. The Expression Sessions series is made up of four jam-style events that will take place between January and April. Anyone over the age of seven is encouraged to compete in any and all of these events. This year’s Expression Session series will be fueled by an impressive roster of sponsors, including Moment, Lib Tech, Nordica, Volcom, Academy, GNU, Arnette and many more. Awards will be given to the top three skiers/riders in each division, plus heaps of other prizes will be randomly tossed out to spectators and competitors throughout each event.
New this year, each Expression Session will build on the theme of ‘Junkyard Jams’. Before each Session Boreal will unveil a never-before-seen terrain feature that has been reduced, reused or recycled for a second life in our terrain parks. The first event on January 13th will feature a slightly modified 1,000 gallon propane tank. The final event on April 6th will be a showdown on all 3 features from the previous events.
For each competition the features and prizes will change, giving everyone something to look forward to. The age divisions are decided after registration, based on the ages of those whom are registered. Registration will begin at 5pm the day of each event and competition will kick off at 6:30pm. Entry is just $5 for anyone with a Boreal Lift Ticket or Season Pass. Helmets are required for all participants.
