Best of Instagram: Stylin’ Swede Emma Dahlström reveals her favorite pics of the season

Emma Dahlström is on the fast-track to the top of women’s slopestyle skiing. This past season, the stylish Swede captured her first X Games gold medal in Aspen, Colorado, as well as a victory at the Grand Prix event in Park City, Utah. On top of her competition success, Dahlström is also one of the most fun-loving and humble personalities in the game. Her vivid passion for freeskiing resonates in her smooth and progressive steeze, while making her a force to be reckoned with on the hill. We recently caught up with Dahlström to get the lowdown on her favorite moments of the 2015 season via Instagram.

Enjoy Emma’s choice Instagram photos below, and be sure to give her daps the next time you see her on the mountain.

The ‘Grams

What a day. Standing atop the X Games podium is a dream come true. The crowd was awesome and I was inhaling every second of it. I’m so glad that I got to capture this moment with my GoPro.

After X Games, I went on a road trip with the Swedish national team to Utah and California. In Park City, UT, I met up with Maude [Raymond]. As always, it was so much fun to shred with her for a day. Thanks to coach Pat for the photo.

This past season I made a video project called Old Classmates with my good friend Felix Lundin. These are a couple clips from our second edit, “PBR,” during our early season shred in Colorado.

This photo was shot with a funky GoPro mount at the Nine Queens event in Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis, Austria. This was probably the best feeling ever—throwing a backflip over the best jump I’ve ever hit. Plus, it’s a bonus that it was shaped like a castle. Thanks girls for such an awesome week. I never wanted to leave this place.

This was my best powder day of the season. I went to Flachauwinkl, Austria to film a park edit for the Old Classmates project. We ended up getting 60 centimeters of fresh snow during our first few days. Two days later the park had great shape and it was super slushy. It was maybe the best ski trip I’ve ever had.
